About Cara
Cara's advocacy is grounded in an extensive corporate entertainment background, built through in-house roles at some of the industry's most influential companies. She’s worked on the deals and policies shaping music, technology and entertainment today, and so approaches every negotiation with unique insight into the other side’s position and limitations. She founded her own practice to bring that same, high level counsel directly to clients without the red tape of a larger institution or cost of a full-time hire.
Cara currently represents recording artists, music executives, content creators, composers, songwriters, and producers. She also serves as fractional counsel to small creative businesses including marketing agencies, indie record labels, podcast production studios, and sports media companies. A creative at heart, she’s passionate about championing artists and entrepreneurs as they build meaningful, sustainable careers on their own terms. Clients ultimately appreciate her patient, hands-on approach.
Cara is a proud LA native and in her free time, enjoys Pilates, ballet, and taking her family dogs, Nessie and Joey, to the park. She serves on the Young Alumni Council for her alma mater, Marlborough School.
